Lately, social media become such an important part of our lives. Whether is checking out on friends and family on Facebook, looking for a daily dose of inspiration on Instagram or Pinterest or looking for new job opportunities on LinkedIn, people all over the world are starting or ending their days with a social network. This translates to a huge marketing opportunity for any type of business. Actually, is getting harder and harder to survive without a presence on at least one social network.

Unfortunately, just being on social media is not enough anymore. You need to put a lot of work and time into it. That being said you need a social media management platform. Without further ado, meet JARVEE – my recent “little” helper. It has anything you will ever need from a social media management platform.

This is my honest review, after almost a month of using JARVEE.

So, first things first, I installed JARVEE on my Windows PC. The installation process is very straightforward, nothing complicated about it. Being a windows based application, you need to keep your PC on when you want JARVEE to work. I already kept my PC on all the time, so no issues there! I was a bit worried that it will slow down my computer, but so far I haven’t noticed any difference in performance.

After installation, I logged in and started adding my social profiles. For now, I use JARVEE on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn. I plan to add a Pinterest account too. Not interested in Tumblr for now, but it’s good to have the option. At first, I only used the tools to grow my accounts: Retweet, Follow and Unfollow on Twitter, searching and joining groups on Facebook and LinkedIn.

After about a week I started adding content to be published on all my accounts and started to use the Mention tool with Twitter. I also started to reach out to potential clients using the Contact tool on Facebook, Google Plus, and Twitter.

By the second week, I noticed a visible increase in my engagement and follower count on all my accounts. What I believe that helped most on each platform was:

– On Facebook: interacting with members from the targeted groups I found with JARVEE. Also, auto-inviting people to join my groups saved my a great deal of time.

– On Twitter: using the Contact and Mention tools. Not sure why, but people were more responsive when I used this one-on-one approach. My sales increased since I started using these tools. Also, the Retweeting and Liking on auto-pilot helped a lot in increasing my engagement on Twitter.

– On Google Plus: I mostly use this network to share my blog content, for the social signals component in Google rankings. I’m not sure yet if it’s a profitable network, as I haven’t got any sale yet from Google Plus.

– On LinkedIn: just like for Facebook, joining and interacting with members of targeted groups proved to be the most useful. Another tool I used and started to like was the Profile Viewer. This tool searches for users that might be interested in my business and automatically views their profiles. They will get notified and maybe check my profile out. I got a lot of new connections (and a few job offers) since I started using this tool.

Verdict:

I will continue to use JARVEE with my accounts. It’s that kind of assistant that you really need in your life. I definitely recommend JARVEE if you want the best results for your social media marketing.
