The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train has a total of 14 coaches, each of which has been meticulously crafted to resemble a kaleidoscope depicting “Pride of India- Bharat Gaurav.”
These kaleidoscopes highlight various aspects of Indian culture, including its architecture, dances, cuisines, garb, festivals, flora and fauna, Yoga, and folk art, among other things.
On Tuesday, G Kishan Reddy (Union Minister) stated that the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train will provide visitors from all regions of the nation the opportunity to discover the architectural, historical, and cultural treasures that the country has to offer.
This comment was given by him when Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Minister of Railways, and Jaganmohan Reddy sent the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train on its way from the Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station.
On June 23, 2022, the train that is bringing five hundred Indian visitors will arrive at the station that is known as Janakpur Dham.

During his remarks at the event, Reddy mentioned that this particular train is the first tourist train to connect India and Nepal.
The Bharat Gaurav Train for tourists is beginning its first Shri Ramayana Yatra for 18 days starting today. “In addition to other well-known locations like Ayodhya, Sitamarhui, Nandigram, Varanasi, Chitrakoot, Prayagraj, Pancvati (Nasik), Hampi, Bhadrachalam, and Rameshwaram the first trip of the train operating on the Ramayana Circuit.
There are plans for Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains to travel along the Krishna, Buddhist, and many more circuits, as well, according to the Indian Ministry of Tourism. This is in conjunction with the IRCTC and the Ministry of Railways.
“An effort is being made to familiarise the people of India with the country’s abundant cultural, spiritual, and historical history through the use of the Bharat Gaurav trains.

People from all parts of the country will have the opportunity to explore the architectural, cultural, and historical marvels of the country thanks to the novel concept of Bharat Gaurav Trains, which was envisioned by the Ministry of Railways.
This will be helpful in promoting mass tourism across the country and will provide an opportunity for people from all parts of the country “Reddy added.
Reddy further mentioned that the outside of the coaches of the trains had been created to resemble a kaleidoscope of Bharat Gaurav, which translates to “Pride of India.” This design highlights many different aspects of India, including its monuments, dances, Yoga, and folk art, among other things.
According to the Minister of Railways, “This day will go down in the annals of history for all of us. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has made this achievement a present to the people of India, and it is also the fulfillment of a long-held desire of the Prime Minister.

Shri Ashwini continued by saying that the diversified culture and rich legacy of India is the primary focus of the Bharat Gaurav train, which was the major purpose of the train in the first place.”
IRCTC is now operating these special comfort category tourist trains to encourage theme-based tourism. These trains are marketed under the name Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains.
The amenities and services onboard the railway cars have recently been updated, while the coaches themselves have recently undergone a refurbishing process.
The projected 18-day Bharat Gaurav Tourist train would be the first of its type to go across international borders and will promote tourism in a manner that is more all-encompassing.
